Description

8-channel remote control receiver signal conversion module using 32-bit MCU to collect signals and conversion, the input signal automatically identified, without manual switching. This signal converter Converts the ordinary remote control PWM signal into the wizard with the SBUS signal.

With this signal converter, you can use the DJI Wizard’s remote control on an ordinary plane (the wizard’s remote control receiver’s SBUS signal is converted to a normal PWM signal for ordinary ESC and steering gear).

With this signal converter, you can convert the PPM signal (coaching interface) of a normal remote control to a PWM signal (equivalent to a wired receiver, converted to a normal PWM signal for use with a normal ESC and steering gear).

The EL18 adopts FLYSKY’s upgraded AFHDS 3 (Third-Generation Automatic Frequency Hopping Digital System) high-frequency protocol, for less interference and greater range. This system is also compatible with one/two-way real-time data streaming. The transmitter utilizes sensitive, accurate, and high-precision CNC Hall effect gimbals. These high-quality gimbals give a long life, are fully adjustable, and can be self-centering, or non-self-centering. 8 switches and 2 rotary potentiometers are included, 4 of the switches and the 2 rotary pots are on the front, and the other 4 switches are conveniently placed on the back, the switches are a selection of either 2-way, 3-way, or spring-loaded. A selection of colored switch covers is supplied for easy identification of the various switches.

The EL18 has a 3.5″ IPS touch screen for ease of programming, the screen brightness is also adjustable to enhance the display in even the most challenging of light conditions. On either side of this screen are the 2 trim hats for easily trimming the 4 main flight controls. Power is supplied via 2 x 18650 style batteries (not included), one in each handle that is wired in parallel, this means that the batteries can be changed one at a time without causing the Tx to power down. A USB-C port is supplied for charging, and for file transfer, and flashing firmware. The metal case is finished in a striking red electroplated acrylic textured coating, this not only looks good but is very durable as well. Accessories include a cover for the gimbals to protect them when transporting to and from the flying site, and a CG adapter for the perfect balance when using a Tx strap.

With the ability to use any mainstream RF modules including those with a transmitting power of up to 2W, the EL18 can offer an interference-free range of 3000 meters or more. The flexibility of the EL18 goes on as it also includes support for the CRSF, and CRFS2 protocols developed by TBS. These long-range protocols give the advantage of ultra-low latency, a fast update rate, and fast two-way communication.

The stable remote-control distance of R8F is up to 800 meters on the ground. Control with the camera and the display screen/goggle makes the drivers enjoy FPV fun. Capable of real-time transmission of RSSI, receiver, and model voltage. The RSSI value and receiver voltage will display on the screen once the binding complete between transmitter and receiver.

The model voltage will display on the screen by connecting the battery to the Telemetry port via the voltage feedback cable (come with R8F), without extra backhaul module needed. The real-time maximum voltage can be up to 8S battery. To support the two-way transmission function, the corresponding latest firmware needs to be flashed.

When at standard working mode, channel (CH) 1 to channel 8 are PWM signal output. Besides CH1 for steering and CH2 for throttle, CH3 to CH8 are auxiliary channels to connect extended functions such as light modules and buzzers.

When at SBUS/PPM signal output, the flight controller can be connected and works with GPS to realize the RTL function of the shipping boat or setup of Mecanum models.
