Description

Build a digital nose with the SGP40 Multi-Pixel Gas Sensor, a fully integrated MOX gas sensor. This is a very fine air quality sensor from the sensor experts at Sensirion, with I2C interfacing so you don’t have to manage the heater and analog reading of a MOX sensor. It combines multiple metal-oxide sensing and heating elements on one chip to provide more detailed air quality signals.

The SGP40 has a ‘standard’ hot-plate MOX sensor, as well as a small microcontroller that controls power to the plate, reads the analog voltage, and provides an I2C interface to read from. This is a gas sensor that can detect a wide range of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and H2 and is intended for indoor air quality monitoring. Raw signal from the sensor is processed using their software algorithm to give an overall ‘air quality value from 0 to 500.

This sensor, like all VOC/gas sensors, has variability, and to get precise measurements you will want to calibrate it against known sources! That said, general environmental sensors will give you a good idea of trends and comparisons.

Another nice element of this sensor is the ability to set humidity compensation for better accuracy. An external humidity sensor is required and then the RH% is written over I2C to the sensor, so it can better calibrate the MOX sensor reading and reduce humidity/temperature-based variations.

As an upgraded version of this new generation, the Industrial Grade Analog ORP Sensor Meter PRO ORP probe employs a platinum indicator electrode and silver-silver chloride reference electrode, which makes it available for 24-hour online ORP monitoring and greatly enhances product durability. The new signal converter adds a more stable voltage reference so that the sensor readings would be no longer affected by supply voltage fluctuations. Besides, there are screws, copper columns, and waterproof connectors included in the accessory packet to help you conveniently build up an ORP monitoring system.

ORP(Oxidation-Reduction Potential) is a measure of the ability of oxidation and reduction of an aqueous solution, which is the relative degree of oxidizing or reduction. The unit is mV. If the oxidation-reduction potential is high then chemical oxidation is strong, while if the potential is lower then oxidation is weaker. The positive potential means that solution shows a certain degree of oxidation, while the negative potential means that solution shows a certain degree of reduction. ORP is an important index of water quality detection, although it can not separate water quality independently, it can be combined with other water quality indexes to reflect the ecological environment better.

Features:

  1. More  durable
  2. 24-hour online ORP monitoring
  3. The new signal converter adds a more stable voltage

Package Includes:

1 x DFRobot Gravity Industrial Grade Analog ORP Sensor Meter PRO

The NGM2611 is a pre-calibrated module for natural gas alarms which is precisely calibrated in Figaro’s humidity and temperature-controlled facility. The module uses TGS2611-E00 which incorporates a filter to eliminate the influence of interference gases such as alcohol, resulting in a highly selective response to methane. The most important process in manufacturing reliable residential gas alarms is adjusting the alarm point. Calibration is a complicated and time-consuming process that also requires a substantial investment in calibration equipment. By eliminating the costly calibration process, this module enables users to easily and simply manufacture residential natural gas alarms. Figaro has taken the complexity out of designing a gas detector circuit by providing users with a temperature compensation circuit that combines a built-in thermistor and individually adjusted load resistor together with Figaro’s low-power methane gas sensor.

Note: for more technical details go through Datasheet in the attachment section

TGS 3870-F00 is a micro-bead type semiconductor gas sensor for the detection of both methane and carbon monoxide. Using a micro-bead gas sensing structure, both methane and carbon monoxide can be detected with a single sensor element by periodic application of two different heater voltages (high and low). Miniaturization of the gas sensing bead results in a heater power consumption of only 38mW (average).

TGS 3870-F00 has low sensitivity to alcohol vapors (a typical interference gas in the residential environment) and has high durability, making the sensor ideal for consumer market gas alarms.

Note: For more technical details go through Datasheet in the attachment section

Features:

  1.  Miniature size and low power consumption

    methane and carbon monoxide (CO)
  3.  Low sensitivity to alcohol vapor
  4.  Long life and low cost

Package Includes:

1 x Figaro TGS3870 Methane/Carbon Monoxide Sensor

The LPM2610 is a pre-calibrated module for LP gas alarms which is precisely calibrated in Figaro’s humidity and temperature-controlled facility. The module uses TGS2610-D00 which incorporates a filter to eliminate the influence of interference gases such as alcohol, resulting in highly selective response to LP gas.
