A3150 Optocoupler used in motor control inverter applications, this optocoupler is perfectly suited. The output stage's large operating voltage range supplies the drive voltages needed by gate-controlled devices. This optocoupler is perfectly suited for directly driving IGBTs with ratings up to 1200V/50A due to the voltage and current it supplies. The HCPL-3150/315J can be used to drive a discrete power stage that drives the IGBT gate for IGBTs with greater ratings.
