The UCC27712 is a 620-V high-side and low-side gate driver with a 1.8-A source current and a 2.8-A sink current‚ designed to drive power MOSFETs or IGBTs. The suggested VDD operating voltage for IGBTs is 10-V to 20-V and for power MOSFETs is 10-V to 17-V. The UCC27712 has protection measures that keep the outputs low if the inputs are left open or if the minimum input pulse width criteria are not satisfied. The interlock and deadtime routines prohibit both outputs from being switched on at the same time. Furthermore‚ the device takes a wide range of bias supplies and provides UVLO protection for both the VDD and HB bias supplies.
