The MC34063A Series is a solid control circuit containing the essential capabilities expected for DC−to−DC converters. A comparator‚ controlled duty cycle oscillator with an active current limit circuit‚ an internal temperature-compensated reference‚ a driver‚ and a high current output switch make up these components. This series was made to be used in Step-Down‚ Step-Up‚ and Voltage-Inverting applications with the fewest possible external parts.
