Description

The SGP40 Air Quality sensor adopts the new SGP40 digital VOC sensor chip launched by the well-known Sensirion. Based on the Sensirion’s CMOSens® technology, the SGP40 offers a complete sensor system on a single chip, a temperature-controlled micro-hotplate, and a humidity-compensated indoor air quality signal. In combination with Sensirion’s powerful VOC algorithm, the sensor signal can be directly used to evaluate indoor air quality. It features low power(2.6mA), fast response(2s), and small size. The data from the sensor can be directly used to evaluate air quality without calibration.

Integrated with an easy-to-connect Gravity interface, this Gravity SGP40 Air Quality sensor is very suitable for indoor projects that will be used for a long time, such as refitting air purifiers, kitchen hoods, etc. Besides, we provide you with C and Python libraries for use with different main controllers.

This Air Quality Monitor introduced by DFRobot provides you with the measurements of PM10, PM2.5, and PM1.0 as well as temperature and humidity. It works well with devices like Arduino, STM32.Based on the principle of laser scattering, this sensor continuously collects and calculates the number of suspended particles of various sizes in the air per unit volume, which is particle concentration distribution, and then converts to mass concentration. At the same time, a temperature & humidity integrated sensing chip is embedded in the module for accurately detecting the temperature and humidity.

In a word, this air quality sensor combines the particle concentration value, temperature, and humidity monitoring functions onto one module, and outputs the relevant data frames via UART. It can be embedded in various instruments and equipment related to air quality monitoring and environmental air improvement to provide timely and accurate environmental parameters.

TGS 3870-F00 is a micro-bead type semiconductor gas sensor for the detection of both methane and carbon monoxide. Using a micro-bead gas sensing structure, both methane and carbon monoxide can be detected with a single sensor element by periodic application of two different heater voltages (high and low). Miniaturization of the gas sensing bead results in a heater power consumption of only 38mW (average).

TGS 3870-F00 has low sensitivity to alcohol vapors (a typical interference gas in the residential environment) and has high durability, making the sensor ideal for consumer market gas alarms.

The Natural gas module is a battery-operated detection device designed for the detection of natural gas (methane) in concentrations below 100% LEL (4.4% CH4 in the air). The sensor is not suitable for measuring propane and butane. The sensor is equipped with a test button as well as an audible alarm option realized with an embedded buzzer.

The heart of the device is an MP-7227 MEMS pellistor sensor which allows for low-power operation on standard AA-type batteries. The module is equipped with visual (LED) and audible (buzzer) alarms to inform of potential gas leakage as well as transmit data related to the actual state of the module and concentration of gas if the module is connected to an external receiver working with serial RS232 standard

Due to the miniaturization of its sensing chip, TGS2611-C00 requires a heater current of only 56mA, and the device is housed in a standard TO-5 package. TGS2611-C00 possesses a small size and quick gas response, making it suitable for gas leakage checkers. The TGS2611-C00 is able to satisfy the requirements of performance standards such as UL1484 and EN50194.
