In many applications, we need to make sure that the system we developed must remain in a specific orientation like in robotics or vehicles on the road or big machinery working in dangerous environments. These systems pose a threat to the lives and safety of the surrounding workers or other living things if they have an accident and crash while their electrical systems are still working. To counter this threat, we have this Ball Switch sensor which detects the inclination of the system with respect to the vertical axis and automatically turns off the switch if the inclination exceeds above 15°. This will come in handy if your machinery falls like bike crashes and other accidents as it will turn off the electrical supply and thereby minimize the risk of fire by short-circuiting. It comes in a fully sealed, waterproof, and dustproof package so that you won’t have to worry about the working environment of this sensor.
