The Arduino Uno Rev3 SMD is a microcontroller board based on the ATmega328. It has 14 digital input/output pins (of which 6 can be used as PWM outputs), 6 analog inputs, a 16 MHz ceramic resonator (CSTCE16M0V53-R0), a USB connection, a power jack, an ICSP header, and a reset button. It contains everything needed to support the microcontroller; simply connect it to a computer with a USB cable or power it with an AC-to-DC adapter or battery to get started.

The Uno differs from all preceding boards in that it does not use the FTDI USB-to-serial driver chip.

Additional features coming with the R3 version are:

  1. ATmega16U2 instead of 8U2 as a USB-to-Serial converter.
  2. 1.0 pinout: added SDA and SCL pins for TWI communication placed near to the AREF pin and two other new pins placed near to the RESET pin, the IOREF that allow the shields to adapt to the voltage provided from the board and the second one is a not connected pin, that is reserved for future purposes.
  3. stronger RESET circuit.

Like the Arduino Uno Rev3 – almost its twin sister – the Arduino Uno Rev3 SMD has an 8-bit processor clocked at 16 MHz and a comprehensive pinout offering electronics engineers of all levels lots of possibilities:

  1. 14 digital inputs/outputs, including 6 PWM inputs
  2. 6 analog inputs
  3. 1 ICSP connector
  4. 1 revised and corrected reset circuit

With Arduino, you also enjoy the benefits of a simplified open-source programming environment, accessible to both beginners and experienced robotics enthusiasts.

Package Includes:

The Arduino Nano 33 BLE Sense is an evolution of the traditional Arduino Nano, but featuring a lot more powerful processor, the nRF52840 from Nordic Semiconductors, a 32-bit ARM Cortex -M4 CPU running at 64 MHz. This will allow you to make larger programs than with the Arduino Uno (it has 1MB of program memory, 32 times bigger), and with a lot more variables (the RAM is 128 times bigger). The main processor includes other amazing features like Bluetooth pairing via NFC and ultra-low power consumption modes.

The Nano 33 BLE Sense is Arduino’s 3.3V AI-enabled board in the smallest available form factor: 45x18mm! The Arduino Nano 33 BLE Sense is a completely new board on a well-known form factor. It comes with a series of embedded sensors.

Note FYI: Arduino officials have replaced LSM9DS1 (9 axis) with a combination of two IMUs (BMI270 – 6 axis IMU and BMM150 – 3 axis IMU).

Reason for change:

  1. The IMU (LSM9DS1), the temperature sensor (HTS221), and the power supply (MPM3610) are replaced due to a shortage of these components.
  2. The additional jumper and test points are added to improve the customer experience.

Features:

  1. Bluetooth pairing via NFC.
  2. Embedded Artificial Intelligence, running Edge Computing applications (AI) on it using TinyML.
  3. The communications chipset on the Nano 33 BLE Sense can be both a BLE and Bluetooth client and host device.
  4. 9-axis inertial sensor that makes this board ideal for wearable devices.
  5. Humidity, and temperature sensors: to get highly accurate measurements of the environmental conditions.
  6. Barometric sensor by which you could make a simple weather station.
  7. Microphone to capture and analyze sound in real-time.
  8. Gesture, proximity, light color, and light intensity sensor that estimates the room’s luminosity, but also whether someone is moving close to the board.

Package Includes:

1 x Arduino Nano 33 Ble Sense with Header

The Arduino GIGA R1 WiFi is designed for ambitious makers who want to step up their game. It levels the playing field for gamers, artists, sound designers, and anyone coming to the tech world with big ideas on a budget – because it packs advanced features into an accessible component, with the same form factor as our popular Mega and Due.

Arduino GIGA R1 WiFi board brings the STM32H7 dual-core Cortex-M7/M4 microcontroller found in the Portenta H7 boards to the larger Arduino Mega/Due form factor with up to 76 GPIO pins.

Original Arduino GIGA R1 WiFi

As its name implies, the board also comes with a WiFi 4 (and Bluetooth 5.1) module, as well as an audio jack, a USB Type-C port for programming, a USB 2.0 Type-A host port, and extra connectors for a display and a camera.

Features:

  1. Microcontroller (STM32H747XI): This dual-core 32-bit microcontroller allows you to have two brains talking to each other (a Cortex®-M7 at 480 MHz and a Cortex®-M4 at 240 MHz) you can even run micropython in one and Arduino in the other.
  2. Wireless communication (Murata 1DX):  Whether you prefer Wi-Fi® or Bluetooth®, the GIGA R1 WiFi got you covered. You can even quickly connect to the Arduino IoT Cloud and keep track of your project remotely. And if you are concerned about the security of the communication, the ATECC608A keeps everything under control.
  3. Hardware ports and communication: Following the legacy of the Arduino Mega and the Arduino Due, the GIGA R1 WiFi has 4 UARTs (hardware serial ports), 3 I2C ports (1 more than its predecessors), 2 SPI ports (1 more than its predecessors), 1 FDCAN.
  4. GPIOs and extra pins: We wanted to keep the same form factor of the Mega and the Due, so you can easily adapt your custom-made shields to the GIGA R1 WiFi (remember this board works at 3.3V though!) and we added extra headers to access extra pins, leaving the total count to 76 GPIO pins, and the best part, you can access them from underneath, so keep your project as it is and just think on how to expand it. Also, we added two new pins: a VRTC so you can connect a battery to keep the RTC running while the board is off and an OFF pin so you can shut down the board.
  5. Connectors:
    1. The GIGA R1 WiFi has extra connectors on board which will facilitate the creation of your project without any extra hardware. This board has:
    2. USB-A connector is suitable for hosting USB sticks, other mass storage devices, and HID devices such as a keyboard or mouse.
    3. 3.5mm input-output jack connected to DAC0, DAC1, and A7.
    4. USB-C® to power and program the board, as well as simulate an HID device such as a mouse or keyboard.
    5. Jtag connector, 2×5 1.27mm.
    6. 20-pin Arducam camera connector.
  6. Higher voltage support: In comparison with its predecessors that support up to 12 volts, the GIGA R1 WiFi can handle a range of 6 to 24 volts.

Package Includes:

1 x Original Arduino GIGA R1 WiFi

The Nano 33 BLE (with Soldered Headers) is Arduino’s 3.3V compatible board in the smallest available form factor: 45x18mm!

This boars is an upgrade to Arduino NANO with ease of use of a Nano board with the addition of secure IoT and BT connectivity. The Bluetooth connectivity combined with its low-power architecture makes it a practical and cost-effective solution for your connected projects.

The Arduino Nano 33 BLE is a completely new board on a well-known form factor. It comes with an embedded 9-axis inertial sensor which makes this board ideal for wearable devices, but also for a large range of scientific experiments in the need of short-distance wireless communication.

Bluetooth and BLE

The communications chipset on the Nano 33 BLE can be both a BLE and Bluetooth client and host device. Something pretty unique in the world of microcontroller platforms. If you want to see how easy it is to create a Bluetooth central or a peripheral device, explore the examples at our ArduinoBLE library.
