MaxBotix MB7360 HRXL-MaxSonar-WR Ultrasonic Sensor

This is a  MaxBotix MB7360 HRXL-MaxSonar-WR Ultrasonic Sensor. The sensors have high acoustic power output along with real-time auto-calibration for changing conditions that ensure users receive the most reliable ranging data for every reading taken. The HRXL-MaxSonar-WR low power 3V – 5.5V operation provides very short to long-range detection and ranging, in a tiny and compact form factor. The HRXL-MaxSonar-WR will typically detect objects from 0-cm to 500-cm and provide sonar range information from 30-cm out to 500-cm with 1-cm resolution. Objects from 0-cm to 30-cm typically range as 30-cm.

Features of the weather-resistant MB7360, HRXL-MaxSonar-WR, include centimeter resolution, short to long-distance detection, range information from 30cm to 500cm for the nearest detectable target, up to a 7.5Hz read rate.

The MB7360 from the HRXL-MaxSonar-WR line of outdoor sensors is a rugged ultrasonic sensor component module. This sensor comes in a compact and robozarst PVC housing that meets the IP67 water intrusion standard and matches standard electrical 3/4‑inch PVC pipe fittings (this product has multiple housing options available).

In addition, the MB7360 offers virtually noise-free distance readings through the use of high-output acoustic power combined with continuously variable gain, real‑time background automatic calibration, real‑time waveform signature analysis, and noise rejection algorithms. This holds true even in the presence of many of the various acoustic or electrical noise sources.

Note: This module doesn’t come with F-option(equips chemically inert material’s covering to the sensor) or P-option(applies Parylene coating on the Aluminum transducer) protection.
