Description

GP2Y1010AU0F Module is used to Sense Dust Particles in air and also called as an optical air quality sensor. It is very much Smaller in size. It detects the reflected light of dust in air. Especially, it is effective to detect very fine particle like the cigarette smoke. In addition it can distinguish smoke from house dust by pulse pattern of output voltage and is commonly used in air purifier systems.

The sensor has a very low current consumption (20mA max, 11mA typical), and can be powered with up to 7VDC. The output of the sensor is an analog voltage proportional to the measured dust density, with a sensitivity of 0.5V/0.1mg/m3.

The sensing element is comprised of a metal oxide semiconductor layer formed on an alumina substrate of a sensing chip together with an integrated heater. In the presence of a detectable gas, the sensor’s conductivity increases depending on the gas concentration in the air. A simple electrical circuit can convert the change in conductivity to an output signal which corresponds to the gas concentration. The TGS 2600 has a high sensitivity to low concentrations of gaseous air
contaminants such as hydrogen and carbon monoxide which exist in cigarette smoke. The sensor can detect hydrogen at a level of several ppm. Due to the miniaturization of the sensing chip, TGS 2600 requires a heater current of only 42mA and the device is housed in a standard TO-5 package

ORP(Oxidation-Reduction Potential) is a measure of the ability of oxidation and reduction of an aqueous solution, which is the relative degree of oxidizing or reduction. The unit is mV. The positive potential means that solution shows a certain degree of oxidation, while the negative potential means that solution shows a certain degree of reduction.
