Polyester tape is made of a strong, thin polyester backing and a solvent-resistant, high-shear acrylic adhesive. Because of these characteristics, this tape is appropriate for situations where solvent exposure is a concern. It creates a strong binding to a wide range of surfaces. This tape's general thinness makes it perfect for splicing. Polyester tape useful in electrical wire, core transformers, and colour coding in electrical wire. Polyester films provide high heat, abrasion, and chemical resistance while remaining flexible. Keeping silicone or silicone-treated pieces in place. Composite bonding bonds effectively release agent-treated moulds, act as a flash breaker tape during component removal from the mould, and close vacuum bags if vacuum bag treatment is part of the process. Masking the margins of overlap seams during the metal bonding process when extra adhesive pours onto tape. Reduces clean-up after removing the tape.
